Schering-Plough leads the Biopharmaceutical industry once more in providing human resource interactivity to its employees with SeePoint Interactive Computing Systems kiosks.

Los Angeles, CA – Wednesday, September 03, 2008 – With over 55,000 employees working jointly from offices in over 140 countries, Schering-Plough, a Fortune 500 health care and biopharmaceutical company known for such products as Nasonex and Vytorin, found itself with a Human Resource conundrum: How to provide each employee, including those in remote locations without access to computers at work, the ability to manage their interactions, including updating or changing vital personal information, with their Human Resources department, and also to disseminate general company information?

Not having an HR department contact in each laboratory or office location can be a vexing problem for employees who do not have everyday access to personal computers, but do have immediate concerns about payroll issues. For a company that holds itself to a standard as being the best-managed company in the pharmaceutical industry, this presented a unique challenge, one that was answered by partnering with SeePoint Interactive Computing Systems, who provided a bevy of Human Resource kiosks to make HR frustrations for Schering-Plough employees a thing of the past.

SeePoint was selected for this project due to their ability to provide a small footprint for the kiosks, as well as for the snoop-proof privacy filters that are so critical to Human Resource applications. Schering-Plough also wanted to integrate their own inventory of PC’s with SeePoint’s kiosks, a task that was easily handled by a company that has provided technology and support to hundreds of companies across the business spectrum, including IBM, CBS, Johns Hopkins Medical Center, the Food Network, and the North Carolina Aquarium.
